Monthly FREE Produce Give Away: each month, on the 1st Thursday, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The city of Forest Park is proud to partner with Freestore Foodbank, WeTHRIVE! Forest Park, the Forest Park Police Department, and the Forest Park Fire Department to offer a monthly free produce give away.

Every month from March - December, bags of free produce will be available in the parking lot of Forest Chapel (680 W Sharon Rd) on the first Thursday of the month from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.  The parking lot can be accessed off of Waycross Road or Sharon Road.

Everyone is welcome.  There are no residency or income requirements.  We never know exactly what produce we will receive, but in the past we have been able to give out potatoes, onions, tomatoes, corn, watermelon, apples, oranges, cucumbers, zucchini, and more!

Just drive or walk up and our volunteers will hand you a bag of fresh fruits and vegetables.  All food is first come, first served, so we suggest you come as early as possible to ensure we don't run out.  For those in vehicles, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and we will bring the food to you.  For those on foot, please maintain a distance of 6ft from others while getting your food.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Kim Chelf (, 513-595-5272).
