Public Notice: Information Session Nov. 30 @ 7:00pm
The Forest Park Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a program to complete the initial accreditation by verifying that it meets professional standards.
Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with professional standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information session held on Monday November 30, 2020 at 7:00p.m. and will continue until all attendees have had an opportunity to speak. The session will be held in the City Council Chambers at the Forest Park Municipal Building at 1203 W Kemper Rd. Forest Park, Ohio.
Agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (513)-595-5335, on Monday November 30, 2020 between the hours of 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. The assessment team will take comments.
Telephone comments, as well as appearances at the public information session, are limited to ten minutes and must address the agency's ability to comply with CALEA's standards.
