The Community Response Specialist (CRS) provides non-traditional police services to community members. The  CRS  is the department's primary facilitator of community engagement and as such, serves a vital and multi-faceted role.   

A few of duties of the CRS include assisting in organizing the Clergy Police Academy and Citizen's Police Academy,  serving on the local Kiwanis board,  partnering with local non-profits such as "We Thrive", attending various city and community functions, and providing seminars on a variety of topics.
