Budgets & Reports
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is prepared annually by the Finance Department. The report contains a summary of the City's financial transactions from the previous year.
An annual audit of the City's finances is performed either by the State of Ohio Auditor's Offics, or by an approved certified public accountant, to verify that public funds are spent appropriately and lawfully. The final report is delivered by June 30th following the year's closing.
Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting
From 1989 through 2017, the Finance Department earned the prestigious Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting, the highest form of recognition from the Government Finance Officers Association, for the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This represents a significant achievement by our Finance Department and is indicative of the professionalism with which they carry out their responsibilities.
