Senior Center Rental Policies & Fees

The Forest Park Senior Center is available to rent Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  Rental requests are on a first-come first-served basis.  Staff does not tentatively hold dates.  Renters will be required to provide a photo ID and proof of residency at the time of signing.  All Renters must provide the City with a valid credit card number to be held on file in the event of damages to the facility.  The credit card must bear the Renter's name and be signed. 
 
Services Provided by Forest Park Senior Center
The Senior Center includes a Kitchen (no oven/stove).  The facility also includes use of the ice machine, refrigerator, and microwave.  Tables:  4 round (4' diameter) and 23 oblong/rectangle (30"X 96") and chairs are also provided for up to 204 guests.  A podium with built-in sound system is available upon request.
    
Set Up
All set up is the responsibility of the Renter and includes assembly and arrangement of all tables andSenior Center Main Hall chairs.  Renters may have access to the Senior Center 90 minutes prior to the event for set up, unless otherwise noted.  Special room layouts may require additional tables and chairs; cost of additional tables/chairs is the responsibility of the Renter.  Any damage to the facility or property of the Senior Center, including the carpet, during set up, event, or clean up is the Renter's responsibility. Senior Center staff will take down ALL tables and chairs after your event. 
  
Clean Up
The following includes the clean up responsibilities of the Renter and must be complete within 30 minutes after the event.  Remove ALL decorations, clear tables of trash and debris, and place all trash in containers provided.  Please pour liquids in sink and not in the trash can.  Senior Center staff will take out all trash to the dumpster.  Renter will remove any additional tables/chairs provided by themselves.   
 
 
Hall Openings
Renters may pick up the key for the building 90 minutes prior to the event from the Forest Park Police Senior Center Meeting RoomDepartment.  Only the Renter will be permitted to pick up the key.  A valid Driver's License and a copy of the approved rental agreement will need to be submitted to the police department in exchange for the key to the facility. When the key to the facility is returned to the police department, the Renter's driver's license will be returned. 
 
 
Rental Fees:    4 hours (with 2 hour set-up/clean-up time) unless otherwise noted.

  • There is a $60.00 additional hourly rate for residents and an $80.00 additional hourly rate for non-residents for rental of the hall.
