 The Forest Park Municipal Building

will be closed to public access

as of 3/20/20 until further notice.

Please follow this page as we post procedures for working with the City remotely.

NOTE: This page will be updated as the City of Forest Park evaluates its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the latest information from County, State and National officials on COVID-19:

Due to Governor Mike DeWine’s order banning public gatherings of more than 100 people to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, the City is implementing social distancing practices at City Buildings. We are open for business (with some restrictions), but recommend phone calls or emails instead of in-person contact. We will accommodate those who need to drop off paperwork or items. You can find phone numbers and email addresses on our website www.forestpark.org.  Below you will also find more information on the City’s action and plans regarding COVID-19.

City leaders have been monitoring news and information and are keeping in close contact with the area’s key leaders to stay on top of developments with COVID-19. The City is communicating with employees on measures being put in place to avoid infection, including providing additional hand sanitizing stations, increasing cleaning measures, and limiting public access to the City Administration Building. They also discussed future steps that could be taken if necessary.

Police and Fire

Fire and Police Department Leaders are implementing increased health safety measures for staff. Leaders and the City Communications Coordinator participated in a video conference with Hamilton County health officials regarding COVID-19.  Officials said Southwest Ohioans are at low risk of becoming infected at this time. They also discussed a communications strategy and the creation of a framework for municipalities within the County that become impacted by COVID-19.

The City will continue to communicate with the public about COVID-19 information sources on this site and social media. If there are cancellations/closures directly related to the City of Forest Park they will be posted on social media and the City website. Any calls/inquiries directly relating to the spread of the virus will be referred to the Ohio Department of Health hotline 1-833-4-ASK-ODH and to the Hamilton County Health Department.  See links at the top of this page.

City Council Meetings
