Hard-To-Recycle Items

Hamilton County residents can safely dispose of their hard-to-recycle waste by dropping it off at local businesses that accept the material. Many area businesses and organizations also accept household hazardous materials depending on the type of business and the condition of the material. Some outlets may charge a fee for disposal.

Below is a listing of materials most commonly asked about.  For a more thorough countywide listing of materials and the companies that accept them, visit the Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste Management District's website.

It is always recommended to call the company first to verify that the following information is correct.
