If you can tear it, we will take it
This program provides those who have limited assess to recycling opportunities an outlet for recycling a material that represents 35% of our solid waste.
However, this is more than a recycling opportunity, it is also a valuable fundraiser for our environmental program. Not only do we get paid by the company that collects the paper, we also receive money from the Hamilton County Solid Waste District for each ton of paper collected. So you can see, this is a win-win-win type of program.
