Community Development

The Community Development Department is responsible for providing services related to planning and zoning, property maintenance, animal control and  grant administration.  Environmental Awareness and recycling programs are also components of this department.
 
 
 
The Community Development Department has the following functions:
 
-  To authorize plans and maps, and modifications thereof
-  Development, redevelopment and renewal of the City
-  Subdivision and other land development regulations of the City
-  The use of land and zoning thereof within the City
-  Using City's established Code of Ordinances to see that property is maintained
