Police Department
State Of The Art Service
Your calls for emergency and/or police services are directed into the Hamilton County Communications Center (HCCC). The HCCC is an independent fire and police telecommunications facility servicing more than 30 suburban cities and villages in Hamilton County.
Increasing Public Awareness
Community Oriented Policing provides an opportunity for citizens to enter into a positive partnership with the police and the police with citizens. Our monthly Blockwatch meetings offer residents a chance to discuss their concerns and keep informed of what's happening in their community. Neighborhood Block Watch has more than 400 members. Police conduct Crime Alert meetings, where necessary, to keep citizens informed about specific crime problems.
Our police officers will gladly speak to student groups or community organizations on a wide range of community policy and safety topics including crime prevention, drug education, forensic service and arts, home security and personal protection. Citizens can also take a tour of our building at the corner of Winton and West Kemper Roads. For more information, contact the Chief's office at 595-5220.
