Animal Control

 
City ordinance requires residents to keep all animals on a leash or restrained by a fence. Animals running free may be impounded by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

 Pets and Animals
  • Animals must have appropriate licenses,  inoculations, food, water and shelter from the weather.
  • Animals must be on a leash or restrained by a fence at all times when they are outdoors. Animals may not be unattended in the front yard, whether on a leash or not, and invisible fences are not permitted in the front yard.
  • Animals running free may be impounded by the City and turned over to the Cincinnati SPCA.
