The Public Works Department maintenance all City owned park. This includes park grounds, buildings, play ground equipment, and sport fields. City parks include Central Park, Kemper Meadow Park, Kanter Park, veterans Park, sandy bays Park, Bruce Ferguson Park, Founders Park, Cascade Park, Islandale Park, Forest Ridge Park, Sandy Bays Park , and Embassy Arboretum.
