A memorable, musical summertime tradition continues this year -- the 19th Annual Concert on the Green, graciously hosted by The City of Forest Park and The Union Central Life Insurance Company, a UNIFI Company. The Concert once again will bring the renowned Cincinnati Pops Orchestra to the front lawn of Union Central for an evening of superb music free to the public, Friday, June 27, 2008, at 7:30 p.m.
Union Central's spacious campus at the corner of Waycross and Mill roads in Forest Park provides the beautiful outdoor setting for 
this event. Concertgoers spread out blankets, chairs and good food to enjoy a summer evening with family, friends, and the sounds of the symphony.
Grounds will open at 5:30 p.m. for family picnics and pre-concert entertainment, including Magician Matthew Brian Taylor of Mason, who performs his illusions across North America and Europe. Also, Agape Children's Center will host a special area featuring entertainment and games for our younger guests.
Maestro Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops will then present a wonderful night of world-class musical entertainment from their extensive repertoire.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase from vendors including LaRosa's Pizza. Plentiful, free on-site parking is provided. and handicapped spaces are available.This is an alcohol-free event. Please no pets.
