Community Awards
Ken Hughes, Chief of Police, received "Forest Park Police Officer of the Year" for 2006 from the American Legion Post 530. Chief Hughes received the award for his 30 years of outstanding service to the community.
Chief Ken Hughes received the "2006 Police Achievement Award for Contribution to Law Enforcement" from the Fraternal Order of Police. This honor was awarded to Chief Hughes for his dedication to bringing the best technology, training, and career development to policing throughout the law enforcement community.
Corey Hall and Adam Pape recieved the Hamilton County Police Officer of the Year award in 2005.

Four Officers (Lt. Phil Cannon, Officers Jeff Larsh, Joel Mast and Ron Harris) of the F.P.P.D. were honored with the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary Citizen Appreciation Awards in 2004.
Our Fire Chief Trish Brooks was honored in 2004 with the with the Scott Frame, M.D., F.A.C.S. EMS Administrator of the Year Award for Trauma and Emergency Medical Care.
Our Clerk of Council Kathy Lives was named Clerk of the Year for the State of Ohio in 2004
Our Environmental Awareness Program won the Recycle, Ohio! Government Award in 2003.
