Beautification/Conservation Commission   

Provides input to the City of Forest Park in the areas of beautification, landscaping and environmental issues. (2 VACANCIES)

Charter Revision Committee   

The Committee recommends if any, for changes in the Charter to be submitted to the electors. (1 VACANCY)

Civil Service Commission   

The Civil Service Commission prescribes, amends, and enforces administrative rules for the purpose of carrying out the functions, powers and duties vested in and imposed upon the commission for civil service employment and employees. (1 VACANCY)

Economic Development Commission   

Assists the Economic Development Department in the recruitment of new businesses and the retention and expansion of existing businesses. (1 VACANCY)

Environmental Awareness Board of Directors   

Board members are an important advisory resource for future environmental community projects. (6 VACANCIES)

Parks & Recreation Commission   

To acquire park and recreational facilities with the approval of Council. It may appoint assistants to supervise and maintain them. (1 VACANCY)

Planning Commission   

Responsible for maintaining and amending the Comprehensive Master Plan and for the planning and advising of urban redevelopment. (1 VACANCY)

Stormwater Utility Board   

Promotes public awareness of the activities of the Utility, provides input for projects and priorties, makes recommendations regarding amendments to the stormwater management code including; master plans, rules, regulations, service charges, and appointments. (1 VACANCY)

Tax Board of Review   

Considers appeals on any ruling or decision of the tax commissioner or the court or board, as the case may be; and shall on hearing, have the jurisdiction to affirm, reverse, or modify any such ruling or decision or any part thereof. (0 VACANCIES)
